Par for the Course

As we enter the winter months, we would like to kindly remind everyone of their responsibility to help maintain the course in its best condition during this season. With colder weather, the course can be more vulnerable, and we ask that all members take extra care to repair pitch marks, replace divots, and rake bunkers after use. Please be mindful of the weather conditions, as frozen or wet ground can easily be damaged. By working together, we can ensure that our beautiful course remains in great shape for all to enjoy throughout the winter months. Thank you for your continued cooperation and commitment to the club.

Members Question

You are invited to send any questions in that you would like one of the Management Committee members to answer. Often a committee member is approached on the putting green with a question that might not relate to their area of knowledge. This is a way for you to ask those questions.

Hole in One

With an impressive 82 consecutive weeks at World No. 1, Scheffler is now setting his sights on surpassing Greg Norman as he continues to dominate the PGA Tour.

After securing his ninth victory of the season at the Hero World Challenge, Scheffler's year has been nothing short of extraordinary. At just 28 years old, it's hard to believe that he's already achieved such incredible success. His consistency, talent, and work ethic have solidified his place among golf’s elite, and with more victories in sight, the sky’s the limit for this young superstar.

Did you know -

  • The Schefflers borrowed money to join Royal Oaks Country Club in Dallas, mostly so that Scottie had a place to practice. He began working with his swing coach, Randy Smith, at age 6.
  • In high school, Scheffler started dating his wife, Meredith, and they’ve been together ever since.
  • In his first PGA Tour event as an amateur, he made a hole-in-one.
  • Not all clubs are created equal – Scheffler confesses a special fondness for his 60-degree wedge.
  • With first-place winnings of $3.6 million, Scheffler has now made more than $57.5 million in his career—which places him 12th on the all-time PGA Tour career earnings list.

Happy golfing everyone,

Karen
